The Framing Workshop.
All our frames are made to measure, bespoke to your artwork. We can frame all manner of things, from oil paintings, prints, photographs, posters and cross-stitching to golf flags, football tops, medals, books, and we even framed a ceremonial sword once.
Not sure if it can be framed? Just ask us and we’ll see what we can do!
If you’ve got family photos, new prints for the kitchen or have treated yourself to a unique piece from a favourite artist, we’ll help you pick the right frame that shows off your work properly and suits your interior and your budget.
Graduation photos, children’s hand prints, big formal portraits for above the mantelpiece- you’d be surprised by the difference the right frame makes.
We love working with artists and galleries to bring that finishing touch to collections, showing work to its best. Whether you are a hobbyist, framing for degree show, the local craft fair or a curator staging a big exhibition, we’ll help you get your work display ready.
We offer Mount and Cello-wrap service for more cost effective ways of presenting your work for sale, helping you manage your outlays.
For museum grade framing, we stock a variety of non-reflective glass, acid free mount board as well as different types of hardware for hanging, helping you meet those gallery requirements.
All our mount board is acid free and comes in a variety of colours and textures. We also offer U.V. filter glass to keep your pieces safe from sunlight damage and Ph neutral adhesive tapes that prevent discolouration from occurring with age.
We handle antique pieces, original vintage posters and those old irreplaceable family photographs, so you can trust us to look after your most treasured items.
If your artworks need a refresh, whether to suit a new wall colour or just to update them, we can reframe your work. Sometimes it’s as simple as changing the frame itself, or putting a new mount on the work, this can be a great cost effective way to revive those long standing pieces on the wall.
We can also re-glaze picture frames, so all is not lost if you’ve had a mishap with the movers or an errant champagne cork.
We have worked with a variety of businesses throughout the years and continue to welcome those big orders for public spaces. We’ve stock Perspex and acrylic sheets for safety conscious, as well as security fittings and composite material frames for lightweight and more easily transported works.
We’ve worked with diverse range of companies, from whisky distilleries, city hotels, restaurants and the universities to deliver interesting and cost-effective framing jobs on relatively fast turnarounds.
